For customers and patients that want to try the ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day MULTIFOCAL for ASTIGMATISM lenses, eye care professionals will order trial lenses to their offices to fit on a follow-up visit. Simply use the Simplifit calculator, or the Fit Guide and order the trial lenses.
For patients who want to experience the benefits of ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day MULTIFOCAL for ASTIGMATISM contact lenses at the first appointment, you can fit the patient with ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day MULTIFOCAL trial lenses and use our unique flipper to demonstrate the astigmatism correction benefit. This approach offers patients an in-chair wow moment with ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day contact lenses.

Follow the fitting guide and use the calculator to identify the initial lens prescription and the recommended enhancement, should an improvement to either distance or near vision be required.

While you are waiting for your ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day MULTIFOCAL for ASTIGMATISM contact lenses to arrive, you can show your customer the benefits by fitting ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day MULTIFOCAL trial lenses and holding the flipper over their eyes to demonstrate the astigmatism correction.
Holding the flipper (the side without the axis markings being held towards the customer's face), ask your them to look at distance and near objects or test types to compare their vision with and without the astigmatism correction. For a monocular astigmat, flip the side that is not required up in to the 90 degrees position, or for someone requiring an astigmatism correction in both eyes, position both sides down. Rotate the pre-installed lens (or lenses) to the desired axis position using the handles on the blue lens holders.

Using the ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day MULTIFOCAL for ASTIGMATISM Flipper

Where to store the flipper
The ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day MULTIFOCAL for ASTIGMATISM Demonstration Flipper comes in a sleeve with hook and loop fasteners on the back.
Attach hook and loop fasteners to the Kit
- Take one part of the hook and loop fasteners attached to the sleeve.
- Peel off the adhesive backing.
- Carefully stick the hook and loop fasteners part onto the desired part of the ACUVUE® OASYS MAX 1-Day MULTIFOCAL kit. Suggestion: On the side of the kit. If this isn't suitable, then please try placing on top of the kit. Be careful not to cover the label.
- Press firmly to ensure it adheres well.
Attach the Sleeve
- Carefully press the hook and loop fasteners on the sleeve onto the hook and loop fasteners on the kit.
- Ensure full contact along the entire length for a secure attachment.
